The mission of the Walter S. Newman Veterans Resource Center is to provide support and resources for Â黨´«Ã½ÉòоÓïÀÏʦ¼Ò·Ã student veterans, their families, and the community.

The Inter Club Council (ICC) is recognized and funded by Â黨´«Ã½ÉòоÓïÀÏʦ¼Ò·Ã's Associated Student Council . It consists of elected representatives from over 50 campus clubs. Weekly ICC meetings provide a forum for clubs to discuss upcoming events and collaborate on student issues.
A resource & support center designed to assist early childhood professionals with career, permit, coursework, & employment information. Academic counselors and career advisors are available to meet with students.
Advisors can provide career and CDEV permit assistance. Academic counselors can assist with developing educational plans, transfer and graduation plans and certificate applications.
The Transitional Studies Department offers instruction in the Â黨´«Ã½ÉòоÓïÀÏʦ¼Ò·Ã High School Diploma Program, General Education Development (GED®), High School Equivalency Test (HiSet®), Adult Basic Education, and Vocational Foundation Skills.
The Math Lab offers free math tutoring through a team of professional teaching assistants and trained student tutors. The Lab is equipped with 25 computer workstations for online homework assignments as well as tables and chairs for independent study.

The Puente Program was historically designed to increase the number Latino students who enroll in four-year colleges and universities, earn college degrees and return to the community as mentors and leaders to future generations. The Puente program model consists of three interrelated components: writing, counseling and mentoring. This approach provides a focused, sustained, and engaging learning environment for students.
We have information, resources and advice for students interested in teaching as a career. This includes assistance with university transfer for advanced degrees as well as support to obtain elementary, secondary and CTE credentials.
