This course offers an introduction to the applied and theoretical principles of the wellness and recovery model. The course emphasizes consumer-directed services, action planning, documentation, systems navigation, trauma informed care, crisis management and counseling skills.

This class requires live online meetings and the use of Canvas. Live online meetings take place on Tuesdays 9/2, 9/16, 9/30, 10/14, 10/21, from 5:10pm - 7:00pm and require the use of CityZoom, Zoom鈥檚 web conferencing platform in Canvas, using an internet enabled device. Some coursework will require the use of Canvas. For course details, students must check the instructor's website - or check Canvas. This class is part of CityOnline and is 8 weeks.
